By the Star Maps UAE team · Published 28 September 2026 · Last updated 18 October 2026

The short answer: the most meaningful UAE National Day gifts in 2026 are personal ones that connect someone to the country: a star map of the sky over Abu Dhabi or Dubai on 2 December 1971, an Arabic-script star map, a framed map of the UAE or the emirate they call home, or a print of the date they arrived. The 55th National Day falls on Wednesday 2 December 2026, so order early to allow for your free design preview and delivery.

White Friday offer: White Friday 2026 is our biggest offer ever: it starts on 1 November 2026 and runs until 2 December 2026, National Day itself, with new offers each week announced on starmapsuae.com. From 1 to 7 November you will get 50% off your second design, on every design, applied automatically in the cart, so a National Day gift and a second gift cost less when you order them together. What UAE National Day marks, and why a personal gift fits

The United Arab Emirates was founded on 2 December 1971, when six emirates, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah, came together as one federation. The union was declared at Union House (Dar Al Ittihad) in Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah joined on 10 February 1972. The occasion is officially called Eid Al Etihad, and 2 December 2026 is the UAE's 55th National Day. It falls on a Wednesday this year.

For Emiratis, National Day is about family, heritage and pride. For residents who have made the UAE home, it is a moment to mark what the country means to them. A gift carrying a real date and place speaks to both.

Every design below lets you choose the date, the time and the city yourself in our live editor, so you see the result on screen before you pay. We then send a free WhatsApp preview before printing. See the full process on our how it works page.
